Designed to be enjoyed by their lucky owners in warm-weather climates, each Corniche took four months to hand-build. The Corniche II, the model’s first major revision, was introduced in 1977 and included new rack-and-pinion steering, alloy and rubber bumpers (which replaced the earlier chrome bumpers), and an oil cooler, aluminum radiator, and bi-level air conditioning system. Further mechanical and cosmetic updates to the Corniche II were implemented in 1987.
This 1988 example was completed in December of 1987 and is presented in Georgian Silver over Charcoal leather with grey mats. This chassis’ leather, trim, veneers, and brightwork all appear in an appropriate and highly presentable condition befitting the indicated mileage. Furnished with an extensive suite of standard amenities and power options, the pilot of this stunning and hand-built machine could want for nothing except the more open road. A set of 15-inch factory alloy wheels presently shod in a newer set of Hankook narrow whitewall tires, assure optimal roadgoing grip around town. This Corniche II is accompanied by an owner’s manual, RROC documents, and select service records......Read Less
